  2. Boy.... some of those Canadiens get pretty testy this time of year, huh? I'd say "Lighten up Francis", but I don't want to piss him off!! I'd also say "teste", but that would probably piss him off too!! It's soo hard to be internationally PC nowdays!

  5. The usual, Straykat 500, Lead Ain't Dead and some local stuff. And I'm going to, once again, try to make it up to Lamar, Mo. for the Old Geezers shin-dig!

We're in Maine so there isn't too much going on, plus we have a farm so it's hard to do more than day trips, but for big events we're planning on being at the Northeast Vintage Drags, the Pine Tree Jamboree, and one of the land speed racing dates at Loring. We'll also hit whatever local shows and cruises we can.

  8. I plan on doing some Drive and Drag events. Some local shows, Nats East in York, and Lloydfest if I can swing it. I want to have more fun with the car this year as opposed to the last several years. Hopefully work does not constantly get in the way.

going to get on my flying reptile and go to only one ---Lone Star Roundup. After that, I don't need or want any more--IMO nothing can compare.

  10. To the moon Alice, and maybe Detroit Autorama basement, hopefully Jalopy Jamup.

Am planning on Lloyd's paint and glass Hootnanny.
Im thinking as the date gets closer that it would be fun to plan with other like minded hotrodders from up this way to make it a road trip. Off the radar, drag race/party weekend.

Assuming I actually get this POS on the road, a lot of breakfast runs and evening ice cream. Long Branch cruise night, maybe Vineland cruise and Fall Wildwood/TROG for sure.

It's not the same as it used to be, even from ten years ago but it's still worth going. It's drag racing and hot rod history, you can feel it as soon as you walk through the gates.. I say 100% you need to go. Its one of those things that if you get it in your head, it never goes away. Scratch the itch before you one day can't. Hope to see you out there!!

Sadly, downhill unless the USA puts the pedal to the metal.

  21. Welp, I'm going to the Lincoln swap meet. It's the first one of the year and they give out the "calendar of events" book that shows what's happening all year long. Then I'll decide. In the meantime, my short term destination is out to the garage to swap engines in my old 34 coupe. 34ingarage12_22.jpg

I'm going back to Pate which I haven't been to in 25 years. I'd like to make it to the Lone Star Round up too. After that it's Stray Kat and gathering at the rock. Springfield Mo has a good swap meet in May and a real good one in August.
