I want to know the earliest ladder bars was used?

  2. I'm curious about that myself. I know that Traction Masters were commonly used on gassers through the late 50s, but of course they use quite a different geometry.
Need to know cuz I'm building my 54 Stude as close to 1957 style as possible and I don't want to run ladder bars if they're not period-correct.

  3. I wish I had an answer for you. I'll bet someone was using the equivelent way back when.

Search for the Ram Chargers or Chargers coupe on here. I think it ran ladders and it was built in the '50s.
