I found that on the Junior Stock post and wondered if there were any copies of those stories or if someone had put them on the net . I would like to look at them ,not trying to beat anyone out of their money in they are copyrighted , just would like to read 'em. Thanks

I love the 283. I have one in my 1941 Ford that I installed in 1969. I pulled out of a 58 Corvette. After the first rebuild I ran the motor for 45 years and recently rebuilt the motor and hope to get another 45 years of use out of it. I’m interested in the articles you mentioned as well.

    Here’s a couple pictures of my 283.

Intersting valve covers on the bottom pic. What are/where did you get them?

I put them together from several components. The valve covers were Cal Custom finned covers. I don’t remember where I got the spark plug wire plates. I ordered them with the Chevrolet script. Then I used a nylon nut and filed it down to wedge between the fins on the valve cover to mount the plates. They are similar to the Oldsmobile and Cadillac valve covers in the 50’s.
