14x6 and 15x7 gm Steelies spiders and skinny ribbed trim rings in Dupli-Color Green with 185/65/14 fronts and 265/70/15 rears radials yes but not much longer it should see a wheel change and new tires soon!
Nice choices. It's so personal though. I went to the trouble (and expence) of building early style 16" steelies & '48 caps for my parts chaser/driver F-100 - but only a couple of guys even noticed. They do it for me, so I guess that's what counts.
13x31 Goodyears on 15 x 12 ET 5 spokes and 18 x 3 Radirs with 3.50x18s. I am a tire and wheel sucker. There are a couple of dozen hanging on the garage wall.
well, after 18 months or better, i fianlly put the www's on the 53 yesterday! in a storm![dork] so, look better or not?
Skinny whites and slotted mags. Stock suspension setup all round for now, but fixin' to change that...still, don't look too bad now IMHO.
Wheel Vintiques 15" steelies painted gloss black with 205/75R15 Coker wide whites, chrome trim rings and spider caps. Just put them on this week actually. Still need to lower it more.
This almost looks like photoshop, but here are my two different sets. As well as ride height and laid out. Completely different looks in all 4. Torq Thrusts 17"s & 18"s Black Steelies, Mini Rings, Bullet lugs and caps, and Coker Wide Whites Yes only in mock up, but 20" Internationals, Ford Caps, and huge Denmans 600's in front (33"), 700's in back (35")
Damn man, the truck is lookin good! Here is a shot of the elky with some Diamondbacks, wheel vintiques 15x8's and 15x7's with spiders... Mootz
A friend of mine is looking to do a similar setup ... do you have to worry about the exact placement of the hole to bolt on the bullets? How far off can you be before the wobble of the bullet causes problems?
Nope its easy. when you turn the hub caps over there is a flat spot in the middle of the cap. The Bullet's inside piece for screwing into was off center but it still worked perfect
Haha you should have seen howmany city workers made multipul trips by the photoshoot to get a better look at those bullets LOL
Heres some of my junk...my 41 Tudor sedan, old 46 pickup, even my 60 4X4 looks good with the right tires/wheel. The 40 pickup, A coupe and 54 Buick all belong to my good friend Logan. He has way cooler stuff than me
Kinda liking the way these change my staid ol' Fordor... 7.50 rear, 5.50 front. On a side note - I picked up '42 caps for these wheels - 4"x16's front, 4.5" rears, and they hit the end of the half shafts and spindles? Are later hubcaps any deeper?
Wyatt, For my money, I'd say your truck looks best wearing the Torq Thrusts! Just looks really bitchin' with em' on her. Plus some day I'm gettin' me some black steel and wide whites and I don't wan't to be all twinzies with ya.
