I went to Hot August nights on Friday, and haven't been able answer all the emails yet. What are you looking for? Give me a call in the morning at 559-322-2128.

    Jimmy,
Trust you are doing well. Just wanted to let you know my wheels are great.
Thank you ! I was looking at the 18 inch wheels on the 33 Ardun @ Chris's
'Salt Flat Speed Shop" AND NOTICED THAT THEY ARE 5X 5.5. I believe Kelsey Hayes " Heavy Duty" from Indy cars. Yes I know they are billed as Divco's.
Can you shed any light on how to get a pair on 5 x 4.5?
    Best Regards,
    George

So you want to put a 4.5" bolt pattern into a "Divco" wheel? I think we can figure that out. I even have some 6 lug cores available.

  8. i don't want to steal your post but have a question about wheels.
will model A 19" wheels with stand daily use at highway speed in a 2 door sedan with 120hp
    motor?

  9. What are highway speeds where you live. I'd use a figure of 60 to 80 mph where I live. I wouldn't worry about the wheels as much as the tires for those wheels. Are you talking about hitting a freeway pothole at 70 mph with 19" model a wheels and tires? Daily use with a heavier engine than stock, probably not a great idea.

Back on topic, hey Jimmy, my wheels came out great- thanks!

I'd say you should be ok, but make sure that you have pretty nice wheels, check the hubs closely for cracks, and try to find some that have less than about .050 runout.

  12. thank you for the quick reply, problem solved.

I tried PM but your storage is full!
I'm looking to buy one 20" high clearance IHC wheel for 1938 D-2. Prefer IHC version but Dodge version might work. Thanks, Don

    Pat,

Putting together another roadster, pre war style with a 21 stud flathead. I'd post some photos but don't know how.

    Pat,

14,000 mi so far. Runs like a champ and the paint looks as good as the day you painted it.
Dennis and Matt are going to put it together once they finish the roadster pickup.
Send me you e-mail and i'll foreword a few pictures.
