Just wanted to give mad props to Jimmy (WheelKid) here on the HAMB. PM'ed him last week on Tues, let him know what I needed. 15" x 5" steelies, two of 'em, Chevy bolt pattern. Spoke to him Weds, Followed up on Thurs, and he Says-"I should be able to get them welded up on Monday." I figured, they'll be to me before the weekend, right? Hell, no! The damn FEDEX monkey shows up at my door first thing Monday morning with my wheels! How's about them apples? Someone who not only met but exceeded my expectations...I didn't know people still did that.
Just wanted to let you all know what a great experience I had with Jimmy and Rally America. And a big thanks to you, too Ryan for the HAMB Alliance idea. Nice to work with profeesionals who care.....

Thanks, I needed that. I kinda had a bad day. Seeing that people are happy with our wheels and service really cheers me up.

I'm looking forward to purchasing a set of wheels from Jimmy in the future. Unfortunately, it'll be awhile before I can swing'em, but I like the customer service so far.

    Damn I thought he bought a '54.....

only the old guys will get the reference...

  7. I was just going to start a thread about him and his family business.
I was on the phone with his dad last night discussing bullets for the front of my T, what a first class operation.
He expained everything I need to do or what can be done to make it work, all in laymans terms..lol I have to say a very down to earth business that cares about what they're selling.

    Jimmy,

I've sent several PMs in the past but have never received a response.

Please contact me ... I have questions about your wheel service.

    Thanks!

I couldn't be happier with my chrome reverse. They whipped them right up and sent them out - and they're perfect. I need to get some info to him about my front brake setup before he'll send me out a set of Chrysler wires. Jimmy, I've been busy, I think I'll have a chance to get that to you tomorrow. Rally America will always have my wheel business.

I am probably gonna catch some crap for this, but, I am glad to see that some people are happy with their business, because I was not.
I ordered a set of wheels, and was told that they would be shipped within a couple weeks... after 2 calls, and 5 plus weeks later, I cancelled them. I was quite upset to find that the wheels were not even in house, or started after the 5 weeks.

    Sorry for the rant. -Joe

I also sent 2 PM's asking about special wheels...No reply to either PM over the course of a couple weeks.

I bought elsewhere. I tried to support a vendor.

Yeah, I'm real sorry about that. We had a lot of trouble getting some centers for your wheels, so we decided to do them a different way and got them started. Unfortunatly the rims were in L.A. getting chromed when you cancelled and we already had the centers done. But I did tell you about two weeks and unfortunatly it turned out that we couldn't do them in that time. I get real dissapointed in myself when people cancel something. It's only happend a coulple of times but it just makes me feel terrible.

Jimmy and Gary are by far the smartest and nicest people in the wheel industry. If Gary ever writes a book on early wheel info, I will be first in line to buy it. Thanks for their service, our hobby truly needs them.

That is not what I understood when I called, I was told that you had not even started the wheels, and you were having a hard time finding parts.... Oh well, its over now, hope everyone else has a better experience with your company than I did. -Joe

And to set the record straight, these wheels I ordered were not odd-ball, special items, with custom back space, they were wheels advertised on their site
