Got a steal on some old wheels over the weekend...

I think they are Cragers but don't know...

They look to be about 4 inch wide wheels...

Any help to identify them fur sure would be much appreciated...

Any opinions as to do they belong on a traditional rod or gasser or if they be too new for that...

Nothing with fake, ornamental or even real rivets on the face of the wheel belongs on an old hot rod.

Cragar "SST" (Street Super Tricks) to be exact, 1980's all the way.

They are fake bolts aren't they...

I'll put them in the muscle car pile...

    The bolts do say SST...

    Thanks for the info...

    from nowhere...

    I don't mind 'em on some groovy 70's drag-stuff.
They ( or at least similar ) were available by the early Pro Stockers...
Wouldn't put 'em on a deuce!

Do what you like, but I've always hated them on ANY car.

    Sellem, get something more correcter.
    You're turn,,,,,,,,

  14. Those look good on late 70's Camaros ... BUT... only if they have the rear window louvers and gold or red anodized valve covers.

  15. Yes, like they said. They are Cragar SST uni-lug, and also came with gold centers (yeah, I know). Seems like they were trying to compete with the aluminum Centerlines, and Enkie at the time.

  16. Hmmm......Maybe a mid 60's Mustang. Maybe Big Dave would want them. : )

Well, at least you know why they were such a great "deal". I'd clean them up and pawn them off on some guy with a Nova or Camaro and be done with it. They might work if you were going for the 70's drag car look but otherwise they have always struck me as not being attractive wheels.

    what he said x10

i love super tricks, they are real modular wheels and can be configured to fit just about anything.
street versions were heavy and ugly. imo

I had a set on my 66 mustang fastback back when they first came out,
thought they looked good at the time, but with so many better looking wheels
out there I think I would pass
