I have found a couple different answers on the internet. 1949 F-1 is is 5x5 or 5x5 1/2
All 1/2 ford pickups are 5 on 5 1/2
5 x 5 1/2"
Do anyone know what others fit this size for a spare?
old jeeps, 50s Lincoln, chrysler and Imperial, and believe it or not, Geo/chevy trackers! Probably others that I've forgotten, but there are a limited number of these larger bolt patterns.
5 on 5-1/2 is correct
Can also be found on older Jeep CJ's and International 1/2 ton PU's.
Heck here's a whole list:
Those are 5 on 4 1/2 ..
I just bought a set and they are 5 on 5.5 I also checked with rally america
and they have them used, 5x5.5. I can't remember what years, 50's maybe?
Don't forget Most Ford cars be fore '48 or is it '50?
Well a couple of web sites show pre 1954 being 5 x 5 so I was confused.
ford car before 48', 49' had 5 on 4.5 bc. 50' chrysler was 5 on 5.5" bc.
Ford cars,1940-48 had 5 1/2" bolt pattern.Ford trucks,1940-56 had 5 1/2" bolt pattern.....
And then there were the oddball ford trucks in the eighties with 5 x 4.5....
Here's a fact of trivia I just discovered: all 57 Lincolns have 5 on 5 1/2 14 inch rims.
Can't believe nobody mentioned the ever present '49-'51 Mercury (5 on 5 1/2)
Ford trucks up to 96(excluding the early 80's f100). Dodge 1/2 up to 98-99(maybe newer-Not all dodge trucks carried the big pattern)
Separate names with a comma.
