Ha! I could do all that, if I had the right tools....Oh wait a Minute, I might need to also have some talent, artestry, imagination, skill, (did I mention talent?) and flair.
When are you moving to Australia, so you can work on mine?
Love your work man, the one off pieces are sensational and the car is lookin' great.

rear garnish is nearly done too, the rear glass is getting glued to the garnish, and will be removable. The screws hold the sliders in place.

The top will have some nifty polished aluminum thumb screws that will hold the whole thing in place.

should have a big update ready by the weekend as soon as things start coming back from the stitcher guy!

I can't begin to say how badly you've fucked up that perfectly good streetrod...

    Shame on you.

I'm gonna call your boss in the morning, and demand he fire you immediately.

Made the center of the headliner too, wanted something cool to show off the dome light. Not sure what the dome light is from, its silver and the lens is soldered in.

Okay, heres a love/hate moment. I love it! All the sheetmetal in the car will be painted the same colors.

Tinman, You have sure saved this Deuce ! All the changes were very much well planned and executed changes. Plus it is making it a more useable rod. Best of both worlds.

Awesome work Jay. Not sure how I missed this post before. I was talking to Larry in Decatur about the work you were doing for him. He was obviously very pleased. Now I can see why.

Can I come play in your shop? I'm sick of doing computer stuff. Seriously though, you do amazing work.

Sorry for the delay, I've had some supplier issues that have slowed things down so I haven't had much to show off.

Most of the interior is done.

    Headliner

    Stuff for behind the seat

The garnish and such are on the way to the body man which is a load off my mind for sure.

Most of the time spent on it lately has been detail stuff that if your more than 10' away you wont see. Tidying up wiring, finishing plumbing the kind of stuff you can spend a whole day doing and take a few steps back and cant see any difference. Still has to be done though.

One of the things it needed was a hardline for the pressure side of the heater. I wanted it to run parallel with the valve cover and stay there, so it needed some bracketry.

    after painting and installation.

I also redid the throttle cable made entirely of #3 brakeline. Same for the kickdown.

The cable ended up a bit long and I'm gonna shorten it up as soon as I get another fitting.

After spending many days doing monotonous stuff I promised myself something fun for the weekend,, so here it is.

    Cool Jeffybump! (shifter tower)

There wont be a flange for the boot, it will slip inside the hole from the bottom and be secured by a couple flutes from a rack boot.
