Well its about that time again. The snow hasn't quite started to fly yet here in Ohio but odds are it will be in the next month or so. If your like me you are already starting to gather parts and supplies while making plans for your "winter" projects. For you guys down south and out west I guess you just call this the "off season".

So lets hear it what are you going to accomplish this winter?

Remember if it doesn't come out of the garage better than it went in last year you aren't doing something right!

    I'll start!

I'm planning on making a new trans tunnel, new floor pans, a complete re-wire, dash and garnish molding resto, and some leak repair on the drive train. I have a few other things I'd like to get to but I'm trying to keep it realistic for the amount of garage/spare time and money I have with 2 kids under 5 and a 50-60 hour a week job (that I'm thankful to have)!

Trans tunnel and wirring need a little help!

I have a Sids axle and rear stuff to drop my burb along with a newer rear axle and a 700r4 with a Lokar long shifter. It will be down for a bit as I plan on thoroughly cleaning and painting the undercarraige etc. While its down, I wanted a driver so 5 days ago I pulled a 59 Apache from under a tree and am working on it like mad until I start in on "the winter project".

My plans for this 'winter': :)

    1. Get my new-to-me '56 Chevy two door beater running, braking, primered, and driving.

    2. Swap the Chevy 283 in my Model A roadster out for a big block Chrysler with early 60's speed goodies.

    3. Burnouts and donuts.

My winter project is to work on spending less time in Maine and more time in the south. I say the south because I don't care where as long as its warm.

Well, dang, another "winter plans" thread.

On my project, I'm going to be splitting a '33-'34 wishbone so I can mount up a late '30's dropped axle and mounting it to the frame. Finish the drivetrain mounts and hopefully switch out the 350 mock-up motor for the '57 283 I'm using. Basically finish welding up the entire frame and start on getting the body solid. I've already posted up the picture at least 25 times already but whatever.. :)

Well I've got a busy winter for sure with a little baby girl on her way but if I get my '35 running right and the loose ends tide up I'm going to start on this Aussie Bodied '32 Phaeton that I recently got.

Sweet grief!! That's gonna be a gorgeous deuce when you're done, JJ. What are the plans for it? Or are we going to have to wait for "An Idiot's Guide to Building a Family-Friendly Hot Rod"?

I think I'll work on the same old pile of junk I thought I was going to work on last winter

I was in the parts store the other day and a customer said he was working on a year long project,
I only wish mine could come together in years, some have taken decades
