That's funny. I had a '47 the same color. I think it was called "Ultraviolet"
It's the most recent , and still looks the same.

I just looked it up and it was called Twilight Royal Plum. But as I said this was a factory color not an aftermarket developed color

One of the only ones I have before I blew the engine....
I love this one , mainly because I am taking my two grandaughters for a ride at the drags.

Over the years we have always taken lots of pictures of our cars. My kids and now my grandkids enjoy them and have them everywhere. Here are some I had on my computer.
The paintings of our cars were done several years ago by Arlen Olsen and by far are certainly some of my favorites.
