  7. Yeah! I'm sitting here listening to "Liquor In The Front." Probably influencing my decision right now, but 5-0 Ford is pretty rockin.

I'm kind of partial to........"Can't Get My Ass in Gear" by Coco Montoya or "Stay Out of Automobiles" by Webb Walker and the Nash Vegans" or there's always "Teenage Carwashing Girls" by the Trip Daddys!

LOT'S of great stuff already mentioned. Here's a few I haven't seen yet...

    Competition Coupe - the Astronauts
Hot Rod High - The Hondells (as well as the Knights)
    RPM - The Four Speeds
    Boss Barracuda - The Surfaris

And pretty much anything with Gary Usher's name on it.

Someone earlier mentioned the "Chrome Smoke and Fire" collection. I was lucky enough to score a copy of this years ago and I can vouch that this is a GREAT collection, not only for the music, but for the Robert Williams picture discs and covers.

I'd say my two favorites got to be "Call Me the Breeze" Lynyrd Skynyrd and "Drag City" by Jan & Dean.

  27. I would not call it a hot rod tune but every time I hear brooks and dunn's red dirt road, I'm 17 again. ( her daddy didn't like me much in my shackled up GTO)
