    Bucket T - Jan & Dean
GeeTo Tiger - The Tigers (love the power shift fade on this one).
Pretty much anything off the Little Deuce Coupe Album, Car Club, Custom Machine, Cherry Cherry Coupe etc.
The list could go on, as it has.

Here's a link to a thorough list that may be handy to some. Covers pretty much anything done in the 50's and 60's.

Even though there were no words mine would have to be Green Onions, When I am driving my truck (Dual qaud 440) and I hear that song my right foot just naturally gets heavier.. My next fav would be Little Duece Coupe and so on and so on...

  26. Rapid Roy that stock car boy by Jim Croce is pretty good. I always get a kick out of the line that says....
He's got a tattoo on his arm that says "Baby",
He's got another one that just says "Hey"
and every Sunday afternoon he's a dirt track demon in a 57 Chevrolet.

    id have to say

Hot Rod Race by Arkie Shibley, which i think is actually from 47 isnt it (edit: nope, its is 50, just checked, i could have swore it was 47, oh well)? I managed to get a CD of his. what an amazing artist. cant beleive his stuff isnt more popular. Did you know there was actualy 4 versions of that song?

    (edit again, make that 5)

    Hot Rod Race
    Hot Rod Race 2
Hot Rod Race 3-Arkie Meets the Judge
Hot Rod Race 4-The guy in the Mercury
Hot Rod Race 5-The guy in the Model A

the first is the best, but the others are just as amusing

and for some reason, wreck of the old 97 really gets me going while im driving.
