This popped up in one of my Facebook group's this morning, it's not a Ford or Cadillac flathead but maybe LaSalle? is the grille shell for the same car? Also check out the manifold. The firewall does look to be Dodge like.:D

@VANDENPLAS Unfortunately that's all I have but the grille shell should help us out a lot, for guys who know about that. Also, the heads have chrome acorn nuts on them so it may have been "souped up" at one point in time.

When you zoom in and look at the crest on the radiator shell, you can just make out the image of a Knight.
The cylinder head looks like, maybe a LaSalle

Maybe the radiator is not original. I have never seen a radiator fill from the front . JMO

  6. 1932-cadillac-la-salle-grille-emblem-jill-reger (1).jpg It seems to me that the engine, body and grille shell are from a '32 Cadillac/ LaSalle , I'm most positively certain. The radiator,,,,WHO KNOWS ! Mitch

i was thinking the grille shell was from a "knight" car. the knight engine was a sleeve-valve setup and wound up in several "assembled" cars. as far as i know, the knight engines were sixes.
by the way, i think callmaker is right about that being a cadillac engine.

I think the radiator is sitting in there backwards, if turned around, the overflow tube would be on the engine side, looks like the fill might line up with the grill hole.
Edit: Changed my mind, no hose connections.
