Looks like a work truck. I can see two tone. Maybe red roof and a bit of red pin striping.

  6. I actually like the white....I agree with painting the running boards and maybe adding some black pinstripes. Of course this coming from the guy with a lime green truck with flames to come....

I recall seeing a cool Chevy AD truck and a mid 50’s F-1 with a cool lay out based off this style that didn’t feel overwhelming. I’ll try to find them

I think if you didn’t mind taking your time taping it out that you could probably have one of the photo shop guys here put that style on it.

Then you just have to copy it in tape.

If your into the SoCal truck you might like the scallop thread Ryan started not that long ago. I’ll go find a link for you

  13. Whats odd is almost all of the pilot house dodge trucks. No matter what color they where when they came from the factory all had a black bed running board and rear fenders. I always liked the cab ,hood & bedsides being one color and the fenders a different color. I like that look on all the makes of 48 thru 56 trucks.

Yeah paint the fenders a different colour I suppose. I think what might make it even better is to keep it all white and do some authentic looking signage like an old gas station or speed shop.

I thought I posted earlier:oops: Maybe whatever color your interior is do accent stripes or pinstripes on hood, around door handles and tailgate. Lace design on roof.

That is how they did things, if you bought a truck you had a choice of colors for the cab but the box and fenders were always black, unless you paid extra to have it painted all one color. Most people spent the extra $5 bucks but as you noticed, some did not.

You have a heavy truck so you might want to think about a finer flame. 06-25-06 4.JPG

Cool wheels and stance and paint wont matter as much:D
But I did run across this in case you were considering any of the reds and white.
