I found this Standard Oil Zerolene barrel tag. What's the story of why for Fords?

  2. I was a product of Standard Oil and was called Zerolene because it flowed freely at zero degrees. HRP

Thanks HRP, any idea why this would target Fords in particular?

  6. I know that Standard sold it up until the early 70s when they finally discontinued it. It was only available in bulk by then (no cans) and was the least-expensive oil they sold. It was also the only non-detergent oil they sold by that time.
