I found this Standard Oil Zerolene barrel tag. What's the story of why for Fords?
I was a product of Standard Oil and was called Zerolene because it flowed freely at zero degrees. HRP
Thanks HRP, any idea why this would target Fords in particular?
...because the other makes wouldn’t start in the cold weather anyway?
I know that Standard sold it up until the early 70s when they finally discontinued it. It was only available in bulk by then (no cans) and was the least-expensive oil they sold. It was also the only non-detergent oil they sold by that time.
