An Early Series Stewart Warner 5" Tach that my Wife may or may not have bought me for Christmas. I have my fingers crossed.

Not sure how rare they are but I have been searching for a long time for a Large tach that was early in it's MFG date.

  7. Saw these Von Esser heads on a model A jalopy coupe Sunday. First I've ever seen. Bill Von Esser had a speed shop in Chicago, and is best known for having raced the first competition Corvette, in the '54 Carrera Panamericana. I reckon they're much rarer than Grancor.

A George Pounden magneto for a SBC. Found one at a Lions Club car show for $35 years ago, contacted George through Hemmings and he rebuilt it for me. Ran it on my deuce phaeton with a Man-A-Fre intake setup. These magnetos were essentially Wico tractor magnetos with an aluminum case for SBC. They even had the original fiber gear/brass gear inside. Guy in MA now has both pieces on his deuce coupe.

This will make you cry:Found in central Texas about two years ago by a friend. Paid $14K, pulled it out of a barn, dusted it off, cleaned it up and sold it 3 months later for $32K. Everything there but motor, trans. Even the fender things, whatever they are for. It doesn't happen every day, but it happens.

A friend of mine has one that's still in the original crate that it was shipped in.

  11. How rare is a Nicson timing cover for a Nailhead?
I'm sure they were popular 40-50 years ago, but how many are left?
Glenwood shows a pic in the catalog, but no listing in the price sheet.

  12. They may not be the holy grail of hard-to-find parts, but Ford Tunnelport stuff that hasn't been ported or completely abused. Took awhile to find my heads and intake when the internet was still in diapers.

And I've been looking for the lower chrome trim for the roof pillars on my '64 Fairlane for quite some time (see picture). They aren't being reproduced and being where I am I don't get to many of the big swap meets. Anyone have a pair they want to part with???

1935 plymouth fenders I have been looking since 1974 . The only one I found at a swap meet was not worth taking home at any price.

Howard Aluminum Heads for a DeSoto Hemi. Only a handful of heads were made back in the 50's.

  28. Right now for me I have to say a Covico Deep Dish (like 7 inches!) Black grip steering wheel. Needed badly for a correct gasser restoration. H E L P !!!!!

  29. G'day, How bout a pair of the aluminum 283 heads that Chevy cast in 58/59. I think most were scrapped due to porosity problems.
