I never realized how many grandfathers and dads had 32's until I got mine on the road. They always tell me how the one they had has a visor over the front window.

    So I would say $500 to $50,000

I can't believe this Guy has been on here as long as he has,

    AND
Still asked this question knowing the ASS reaming he was about to get !

    UN BE LIEVE ABLE.................................

  8. the length of your "string" will depend entirely on how hard you rub it........

  9. I think this thread is getting a little goofy. I am going to unsubscribe and figure the guy will place it on e-bay like the 32 Roadster. He is using this thread for advertising. He probably bought the car on a local Craig's list and wants to flip it for a profit. No way would I pay the prices quoted on this thread. I do not care if Mickey Thompson or Carrol Selby drove the car to high school and made love to Jane Fonda in the rumble seat. I watch the Barrett Jackson auctions and I think some of the buyers must be on some kind of ego trip or just plain stupid.

I will give him twice what I paid for my last car. And that's a firm offer. Do we have a deal?

I don't know about strings, but this thread will be probably be pretty short.

To answer your question though, it all depends if its an original'32 henway model ..

  12. Yeah, right.

  13. OK, I'll bite ... What's an Original '32 Hennway? ... I'm only familiar with Norm's '23 model :D:

Goddam I missed that "original blue paint" !!

    Still a stupid OP.

  25. If it's really in a barn, that's the stuff everyone's looking for. I say go for it, gotta be worth top dollar. But, if it's in a quansa hut, or a lean-to, forget it, nobody ever leaves anything worth a shit in one of them. That's how you know it's bogus.

    32V,
In case you haven't figured it out, Dude, your question was universally perceived as really f..'ing stoopid. First of all, everyone who has an old car for sale says it's a `32 -- I've seen everything from Model T's to Dodge coupes described as a "...32 roadster" by the seller. Without a picture to confirm that it is indeed what you say it is ... there's no way to even approximate it's value. Most folks, for instance, can't distinguish a `31 roadster from a real `32.

Next, folks are gonna want to know something about the drive train ... is it original or has it been modified? Does the car run? Does it include fenders, running boards, splash aprons, gauges, etc?? Or is it really just a shell? There can be no rational response to an irrational question ... and until you provide lots more detail, you're gonna be treated like a real dumbass.

Finally, there is an "institutional bias" on this site against those who ask the question: What's this car worth?? Market value can vary enormously, depending on how complete (or incomplete) the car may be, how well (or poorly) it's been cared for, yadda yadda yadda. And "worth" can really only be determined by what the seller is willing to take ... and what the buyer is willing to pay. If the answer is real important to you, then you should hire a qualified appraiser.

Until you provide a lot more pertinent information than what you've offered so far, the most accurate answer is, "It's likely worth a lot less than what the seller is asking."
