Went to see my buddy Jason today to check on my ride for the Straykats 500 this weekend.... The first car I want to show you is a sweet little '28 roadster on deuce rails. It's a new build for one of their customers and a good friend of mine, Glynn. He has a whole stable of very cool traditional cars.

This is the car I get to drive to the Straykats 500 this weekend.

(It's nice to have rich bastards for friends 'cause they let you drive their shit to shows.) :D

This little car is the "As-Is-Special", and it's the brainchild of Jason and Glynn to have a car that is put together with original Ford parts that are found in as is condition....mostly.

Nothing on this car is newer than 1949 except the gas tank and the radiator....even the NOS seat covers are for a 1949 Plymouth 4-door.

The tach is not installed yet but it's a rare one that Jason is trying to get working.

I've got 70 pics and I'm slow at loading so bear with me...this may take a while...here's the first 30 pics...

i know it was popular to install 32 rad shells backintheday
but looking at so many photos of this neat example of old pre 32 model Ford finally has made me comment on how much i think the large bulky look of the later 32 shell is way over done ...
???are they just saying ''look i can afford a 32duece shell''
    >just my opinion

What's that turn signal lever from? We have one at the shop, but nobody seems to know what it's from.

Haha, it belongs to a customer and isn't for sale, and besides there is a line anyway.
