I would want to have your opinion(notice) for the choice of color of the wheel and the seats on my project : look here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/my-29-a-modified.629304/ At the fist time I would like to peint green whith the black hub caps But now I'm not sure of this choice What do you think red and beige the same of this photo Wheel black and the seat beige Or Wheel beige and seat beige About is the choice of the color I keep hub caps black Thanks for your help
I would think its best to go to the photo shop thread and ask one of the guys to show your car with a couple of different color combs. Its a hard choice and makes a huge difference on how your car will look, but its only paint ,you can change it up when you get bored of it.
That shade of green looks great on the wheel rims. That same color or close to it was used by FoMoCo, I have seen Mercury Flathead V8s that color. In my opinion those green wheels, black body, black hubs and tan upholstery look very good together and it gives an industrial look that captures the period. It's clean. So my vote is........ Green Wheel Rims Black hubs/Beige Upholstery.......A tiny detail but I would paint the lug nuts green to match the rims. By the way......This morning I'm going down to the Fort Toulouse historic site some to do some work on the 1814 American Fort. French Marines were stationed there from 1717 until 1763.
Black body, tan interior, you can do the wheels any color, change the wheel color when you want. Green, ivory, orange would all look good.
I'm kind of partial to this color combo The wheels and hubcaps were both supposed to be Cloud Mist Gray but it seemed like too much 'Gray' to me, so I went with cream wheels instead.
