Painted in the door jambs and dash for my father's '47 Merc project for Father's Day...maybe another month and I'll be putting on final paint!

BTW...those looking might realize the dash has been modified. He filled in the panel to the right that originally had the rectangular gauges and made a replacement panel to take after market gauges. He also made an insert to fit an aftermarket speedo into the original hole. Looks pretty good.

  3. I skipped the LARS and finished up the last of the quarter panels repairs. I just kept thinking, I'm going to take the '59 there next year.

Hood & sides I made for a car a friend is building - not too traditional, but better than most over here

  7. I worked on the cooling system and crusty tranny cooler lines on the El camino, I also got some project done on the house. Overall a pretty productive weekend.

Got the original radio in the Caddy working. Wired 2 new speakers and I can finally cruise with some tunes.

Two cars started Sunday. After a year of turning wrenches and working around "life as it happens". Both O/T, but cool and stepping in the right direction.
