I owned a '57 chevy business coupe in the '70's. I am actually looking for the rear seat platform to make my 210 into a business coupe. Can anyone help?

    As in a 150 model?
    You may know this.
Youre talking about a "utility sedan", they had fixed rear side glass where the standard 150 had roll down windows like this one.

For sure. Wish I had that car back. Rear windows are over rated....they don't need to roll down! LOL

the last year for the business "COUPE" was 1953............ 1954 started the utility sedan ... though people still called them coupes... they were sedans and had the same roof as the sedans... 1953 roof was shorter... my club coupe was the last year chevy made a coupe,,, they were 2 door sedans after that....

he strictly two/three passenger coupe/business coupe style petered out in the late forties and early fifties, depending on the brand. It was no longer was worth the investment in body tooling for the small numbers bought. Some were replaced by a club coupe, that was shorter than the two-door sedan, and could be had with or without a back seat (called business coupe in that case). But even that went by the way, as it made no sense to have two two-door sedan/coupe styles, and Chevy made the last one in 1953.

So starting in 1954, the two door sedan was also offered in a utility sedan style, minus the back seat.

I remember that in the mid 60's a buddy of mine bought a 55 or 56 Utility/business sedan off a local dealer's car lot for a seriously cheap price. 235 3 speed but as nice as the body was and as well kept as the engine and drive train were no one wanted it because it didn't have a back seat. When he bought it it still had metal boxes in the back seat area to hold catalogs that the salesman who drove it from the time it was new until it was traded in had put in it. Last time I saw it in 1967 he had a 327 and 4 speed in it and it honked. We kidded him about needing to put a mattress in the back with a tonneau cover over the back seat area when he bought it.

I had a '55 150 business coupe back in 1970, and was told by the local Chevy dealer back then that they made some 1957 150 business coupes also.
