what year is this cab?

    this is not my vehicle but saw it in some pics here. just wondering what year the cab is? thanks

    It looks like a 40-41 (pretty much the same 40-47)

    Looks to me like 40-47 Ford. I'm leaning towards 47 ford because the lines at the doors split into 2. If I'm not mistaken the earlier cabs had 3 lines there. Hope this helps.

    That's identical to my '40 pickup. It has a '40 hood and grill as well.

    What a shame. It's funny, those can look so right with very little "work", but that one seems to have had alot of work to make it look so wrong.

    The cab may have begun life on ton and a half or two ton though. I'll agree that it would be a lot nicer with fenders and a bed on it.

    You're thinking about the '38-39 cab beltline. "40-47 beltlines are identical. The builder has erased all traces of the differences between '40-41 and '42-47 cabs so it is hard to be more precise with the picture provided.

    So 38-39 has the 3 lines in the doors? Thanks for clearin that up for me.
