I wouldn't do anything with it. The body style is far from being desirable and looks like a rust bucket. Wouldn't be worth the time and effort. It takes just as much time and money to build a Fugly car as it does to build a good looking one. Walk away from it.
You asked for opinions and I gave you mine.

Only you know what your skill level is and how much time and $ you are willing to put into it.

  5. 1. What are the lost opportunity costs?
If you buy/build that, what other project will get postponed, financially & chronology?

    2. Do you have space for another project?

I tried to jump a pond with one just like that in about 63, ended badly to say the least. Come to think of it, that could be the one. If so it hasn't changed much.

Some cars are not worth saving. That's one of them.

  15. Twenty mins with a Sawzall would have the ''good'' side ready to hang on an upper level shop wall.

Scrap steel is $185 a ton, whole cars $130 a ton. Is it worth your time to pick it up and haul it to a scrap yard?

I've had two of those and couldn't sell hardly anything off either one, a 46 and a 47. Hell I still have a box full of gauges sitting in the garage that I can't sell.I did use the front and rear suspensions from them though but that one looks all buggered up in the rear.

If you don't love it, leave it where it is, and unless you have a need for whatever you want to take off of it, you may never find anyone that does.
Is it worth the time and effort to scrap it? Gene

    me. I would get it.
Either as yard/lawn art or more likely would get drunk with a mate and try and chop the top just for shit n giggles. With utterly no plan to take it much further than that one days mayhem.

  27. Parts only, and only if you have a need for them.
Time to remove , store, and try to sell the parts exceeds any potential profit gained.
Free seems too much..I'd walk away.

Screw it man, that has the potential to be the scariest hooptie POS out there if you wanted it to. Leave the body alone, deal with anything needed to put a drivetrain in there (personally I would try for a 360 and floor shifter) and steer it, pop a seat in and go cruising in your new project rustbucket.
