He priced the truck at $3800.00 , I think my wagon is worth that ammount , but , cash for my wagon can be bought outright for $3500.00

    Tough decision to make.
JMO, and I love the looks of those old rods, but to make it right, as stated above, you would need a different box, engine (which I know you have) and drive train dependability is unknown, as opposed to your Chevy...
Kinda like trading your Chevy for a cab, frame, and not a whole lot more....
Good luck, and let us know what you do...
Oh, by the way, cool lookin' truck behind your Chevy !!!

Another vote for WAGON. Keep it, paint it up nice. It's cool!
  11. Id trade for the truck in heartbeat.
I would fit in there no problem, you might need a sunroof??
Put a nice bed, fenders and a hood and drive it!

I'd keep the wagon. I'm a big fan of long roofs.

Keep the wagon, that's not exactly a daily driver truck, it looks like a thrown together pile of leftover parts to me IMNSHO.

Kinda apples & oranges, I think. If the A's not boogered up too much, I might think about it. You've got a cool & reliable ride, right now. How much work & $$ would it take to get you that, in the A? And are you willing to take that on?
  16. Keep the wagon. Old trusty wagons like that are like a comfortable old leather jacket....they fit right and do the job comfortably.

The way you describe the wagon....I'd only let it go for something that you really have a Jones for, and it doesn't sound like you REALLY want the 34.
  17. I say keep the wagon, you know what you got there and I'm partial to wagons anyway. I had a bitchin' '65 Belair with a SBC and a Muncie.

I'm with you fellas! Stick with the wagon. Hot rods are cool, but nothing like a longroof on a long drive. AND, 8" rallys.... If you want an A, wait till you find a sedan you like, THEN trade.
