Seeing that I have $2400 into doing a complete rebuild parts/machine work into a 241", you could have a good motor right now. So whatever it's worth to you or however low he'll go.

Good running but not overhauled? Cores 500-800$. Go to www.hothemiheads.com & figure out what it would cost to go through. Price somewhere in between. If overhauled, deduct for milage.

non runnin complete 800 -1k . 2-3 grand to rebuild, like Kirk said. If you can here it run and give it a good once over. Make sure your not getting a rattel can rebuild. I like to use the 1/2 rule. If the price is 1/2 of new or 1/2 of the cost to build. It is a good deal. Just my rule of thumb.

How many cubic inches? Is it a 270, 315 or 325? If it runs good, no smoke, ready to bolt into another car, I'd pay at least $1500 for that, maybe 2K. Depends more on the cubic inches and whether it's got a 2 barrel or 4 barrel on it.

No need to rebuild it if it already runs good.

Front dip stick, front engine mount, super red ram covers. All looks like stock 55 270 RR 2bbl engine. I would pull a cover and check for gunk. All good, I would be happy to give 2k.
