I remember getting this for Christmas when we were living in Spain. We had a flat across from the ocean with an open roof that was walled in and I took that bigwheel up there and raced back and forth across the roof, using the bright orange e-brake handle for some serious power slides. Suddenly the cheezy Chines plastic handle folded up under the back wheel and I flew right into the side of the wall at full bigwheel speed, busting my nose and my lip in one fail swoop. Merry F-in Christmas to me. Good times.

Had a '69 Pontiac LeMans with a Ram Air IV 400 and a Yamaha RD400 cafe racer for the street. Though I ended up spending a lot of time on these things as well...

A white '64 Ford pickup with a 292 Y-block (sorry no pics). I was just weeks away from getting married. The '64 is long gone, but I've hung on to my girl.

A pair of predators on a tunnel ram. Sweet!

I had a 64 Chevelle (damn if I can find a pic of it) w/ a 427, tunnel ram & a pair of 660's on it. M22 trans, econoline straight front axle & olds rear.
VW wheels on front, M&H wrinklewalls running tubes & liners out back. That was 70's though. I need to get into the garage attic for the older stuff.
My sister-in-law backed right into the door & I mean bad. Metalflake fade paint. Front was silver & faded to magenta by the time you got to the rear. Couldn't be matched. Sold it right after that w/ a cheap Earl Shieb repaint ($19.95 I think ). The flake fade paint was more than the whole car was worth. I think I threw up a little bit thinking about it.
That bitch! Wasn't even sorry! Told me it was my fault for parking across from my in-laws driveway. I think she hit it at about 35 miles an hour in reverse.

You guys had some great cars!

    30 years ago ... this

I rode in it ... in 1969 with the dealer paper tag still on it. I bought it a few years later from the original family. Real RS Z-28, matching numbers and low mileage. Sold it to have the $$ to buy a brick home for the wife. Wish I still had the Z-28 ... but at least I still have the same wife ... so I came out ahead in the long run. :D

I had a 59 GMC short step side. It had an inline 6 (292) and almost a half a million miles on it. I drove that sucker from California when I moved back to Kansas City. I loved that old heap. I finally got everything smoothed out, new front suspension, everything ready for paint and I got hit hard in the right front by a jerk in a Camaro that ran a stop sign. Totaled the truck. I still miss that one.

Twenty five years ago I was driving a '71 Riviera and riding a '71 Harley shovelhead. This is the only photo I have of the Riv. The nerve of my girlfriend (now wife) to sneak into the photo with her '67 import.
