Mine was a '87 Thunderbird with a 5.0. She was brown and rusty, we nicknamed her the "Thunderturd".

1973 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ that was Black (vinyl) over maroon
with honeycomb wheels and a 455 CI. It was originally my fathers
car, and was handed down to me after my mom purchased a Chevy
Suburban in the late 70's. Too fast of car for too inexperienced
    driver at the time.

My highschool ride and my first car(truck) finished it when i was about 15, I am now 24. I still own it,will never sell. Its got about 50,000 miles on it and i drive it atleast 3 or 4 days a week. There is no better way to go through highschool than in a hot rod.

First ride was my uncles old 67 El Co gardening truck, traded that for the 64 Impala cruiser, a 56 210 sedan came next and then traded that for my High School ride in 11th grade about 1980, my 64 Malibu 396 4 speed car.

What a time it was affordable cars and fair trades for the asking !!

65 Plymouth Satellite with a wide block 318 and a 727. Drove it for a couple months and then got a 61 Impala bubbletop with a 283 and 3 speed in the floor (Hurst Mastershift). Grenaded the 3 speed and swapped in a M-20 4 speed. Still have the 61.

as a Freshman in HS (1959) I had a 48 Merc coupe, when I graduated in 62 I was driving a TropTurq 57 Bel Air convertible. There were probably 20 or so cars in between those two.
