"It's All Been Done"
I knew you before the west was won
And I heard you say the past
was much more fun
You go your way, I go mine
But I'll see you next time
It's all been done
It's all been done
It's all been done before
I just came across a bunch of "Street Rodder" magazines from the '70's in my little collection. Earliest being a '72. I need to look around for a decent scanner to buy for myself so I can put them up on here rather than heading to school to use the ones there.
The look is still in with some people. My friend and his 68 cuda which he just finished building.
I really like your friends recent build!
Nice to see the younger crowd appreciating history, and reviving it!
Ah to be a teenager back in the 70's,the music & muscle were awesome. I only got to live the last 4 years of this magical decade.
Way to many drugs.....thats all i remember....i think!
Love it, back in high school guy down the street from station I worked at, had a blue fastback cuda, with slots...nice car
I'd chose that body style over a fastback any day
It's purple. Almost plum crazy but a little too dark.
70s Canadian Rods
A few more pics. of 70s Canadian Rods...
cool ass video and music, rock. thanks for sharing it.
70s Canadian Rods...
This was my ride in 1974.
Great old photos, looks like an early "Family Affair" rod run in Chilliwack,BC.
I'm liking this thread, more please..
Cool old Canuk pics!!
Rocky that is one strange looking maple leaf.
A lot of those cars would have been considered throw back, like my '46 was in the '70s. Not stylish by the standards of the day and certainly not to be considered a muschl car but still accepted by the masses as one bad mutha truckin ride.
Those are sweet rides for damned sure and proof that the '70s was not all big meats and high up in the rear.
well I wasnt driving or owner of a car in the 70's,, but I do remember many shows and seeing the cars of that era. I was already into it at that age..and just a few years away from driving. hey im from the motor city.
some of the 70's spilled over into the early 80's
at least from where im from.
I remember buddies having jacked up air shocked rides, "wide oval" bias ply tires ..aluminum slots..etc..
my O/T charger is a throw back to that era..its how I got it when I bought it, and it still wears the same tires and wheels of that era
Some of mine from the 70's
One of my other rides of the 70s.
I don't think anybody would do that in today's day and age.
It's Sooo '70s!
after I totalled my '65 Mustang GT fastback, I got to drive this ... My chick magnatism was greatly impaired.
This is the '67 Bel Air that my Uncle cruised in the late '70s.
and this is the '72 Nova that he raced during the same period.
