Justin Plainfield. That way you can call him Just Plain --------- (insert your last name here)

  3. I went to school with kids whos first name was Hemi. It is a fairly common name for Maori boys. Maoris are the original natives to New Zealand.

Hmm, I like that nickname for some odd reason.

I teach economics and when I have extra time in a term (not often) I show the kids "Tucker" because it covers a lot of what we talk about. (SEC, stocks, corporate evil, etc.)

Preston Tucker was cool sounding to me and we were having some serious boy name issues. I brought the name Preston home and it was an instant hit.

We debated Tucker also as a middle or first name.

    Just a thought...

You can call him any "cool" name you choose. Four Eleven s a name I'm sure no one has used before. But remember your son is the one who has to live with it for the rest of his life. My feeling would be to give him a regular masculine name like George (Montgomery), Ed (Iskenderian), Norm (Weekly), or Bill (Thats my name but I'm not famous).

If I had the last name Northcott, the name would have to be Stanley (Stan). It would be in honor of an old time hot rodder from around here Stanley Northcott. Back in the early 60's he had a '52 Chevy sedan delivery with an Olds V8 in it and it was the ultimate sleeper. He was an old guy even then and I can't count how many young rodders were left in the dust when they tried to challenge him from a stoplight. He put relatively quiet exhaust on it but you could tell there was something that just wasn't quite right. It had a REAL B&M 4spd Hydro with a very trick column shifter so looking inside when it was parked gave no clue as to what was lurking under the hood.
He started a company named Stanley Alarm Systems specializing in home and business security systems. He put the one in my home and shop shortly before he died and I've "kinda" wanted someone to try and break in just to see it work. SURPRISE!!!!:D

Name him Pierce after Percy Pierce, who drove the Pierce Arrow and won the glidden tour in 1905. Or Harley after Harley Earl.
