the decklid that was used was a from a zephyr coupe. The coupe decklid follows the curve from factory so I just had to form in the area above the deck and about 1/4 way down the sides. I’ll look to see what other pics I have

35-36 stanchions modified some and I built the windshield frame. As far as the decklid I was lucky that a friend has a 39. Ended up finding a glass one that ScotyChops in Ca had and ended up using it

The panel above the trunk lid (tulip panel?) is really a beautiful piece of metalwork. I also like that the quarter filler panels and door extensions appear to be made from the old door skins. Might not have been that hard to make but it's better to me that it uses mostly original sheetmetal, for some reason.

This came out great. I've often wondered why more of the 4 doors haven't had this type of work done to them considering the prices on them usually seem pretty reasonable.

 

I just stumbled across this thread and my god, what a transformation. It really takes someone with not only skill but vision to see it.
