I`ts my name simple as that.

 

Since I haven't said anything yet, here's my story. Back in college I drove a '69 VW Beetle. It was nearly stock at the time, and I always talked about how someday it would be fast...yeah, someday. I was part of teh UW-Stour Auto club, and we routinly had partys. Being a VW guy, and new to the club, our alumni dubbed me "Bugboy." They too heard the storys of my 'someday" motor.

After skimping and saving for two years, I was able to afford the Supercharger kit for it. It went from being nearly stock to a 14 second car(still not fast, but for a still 1600cc VW, it's quick). I took one of our alumni out for a ride that included many burnouts, donuts and powerslides. When we got back, he got out of the car and said "Wow Jeff, That's pretty cool. You've graduated from Bugboy to Bugman", and the rest is history.

My drinking buddy in high skool would get blasted and start daring me to do stupid shit in my Jeep. I'd always do it and he started calling me Danimal. I ended up marrying his sister 5 or 6 years later.

Now 20 years later, he's the only one who still calls me that but it makes my wife laugh every time with that cynical 'Danimal, ha!' tone!

Always wanted it to by my license plate but too cheap to pop for the $50!

I've had a Ford from the first day I started driving. I've had other makes but a Ford has always been in the stable. I have a Ford tattoo. One day David Perry called me Johnny Ford and it's stuck ever since.
