If there is an old dusty parts store in town with a couple of bald headed or gray haired grouches behind the counter that is the place to go. The place where all the farmers get parts for their old tractors. A new shiny parts store full of Chinese crap with a kid with purple hair and a snot ring behind the counter, not much use to you.

Rusty. thank you very much for this advice... The grey haired old kodger in our neighbor hood was my dads best friend. He died about 8 years ago and my dad died in december. I never thought I would go back in that building again but I just spent the last 6+ hours in there digging through a bunch of old old old piles of dust. Underneath all that dust I found several original and very old shop manuals. He used to call them his parts computer Lmao!!! I found some starting back in the 20's - 40's ?!?!?!? not quite sure yet. I have to go through what I found and get ready to go back and dig some more. I think I am going to start listing all the parts for sale on line. there are a few very rare and old parts in there that are NOS stuff and im sure there are a lot of people looking for it all. But again, thank you very much for this advice. the second I saw that I got thrown back to being 10 years old and waiting for my dad while drinking the free hot chocolate. And now I know for sure that those two old men were the pervs of their day. I spent hours in the parts house drinking chocolate while my dad went in the brake and rotor room to "look at parts" there were always "Parts" that Dale just had to show my dad so thats where I started my search. the most organized area in that entire building was the porno mags those two turds were drooling over while i was eating candy and drinking chocolate LOL
