Technical What Replacement Condenser for Mallory YC Distributor?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Saxman, Dec 28, 2014.

  1. Anybody know what modern condenser would be a good replacement for the old brass condenser on the old Mallory YC-310 -HP distributor? According to posts I've seen from GMCBubba the old brass ones had a rating of .30 to .40 mfds for longer point life. Is there a modern equivalent to that through Napa? Anybody got a part number?

    Thanks!

I just used the one that's listed for 58-74 GM V8 engines. Seems to work ok.
