Projects What psi are you running in your ribbed firestones?

    Got some 500 16 ribbed firestones on a model a coupe. Had them at 22 psi and the car skated all over the road. I lowered the pressure down to 13 psi and did the same route. Night and day difference. Can take my hand off the wheel at 70. What's your experience? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432758125.024673.jpg
     
  2. Are you using a tube? If so you should be all right.

    I ran mine at 16-18, they bounced around on anything over that.

    Then, after a few thousand miles, they starting wearing badly, cupping, etc.

    They look nice, but they're kinda shitty tires.

    I actually love mine... I run 26 pounds and they ride perfectly.
