Trying to find a pilot bearing that will fit my 69 327 to a world class 26 spline T5 ford case with 1" adapter plate. All bearings im finding are to small on outer dia. or to big on inner dia.
My crank outer is 1.70 and pilot inner is 0.60, most bearings on the net don't give sizes. The Mr. Gasket bearing I could get size numbers of are crank outer 1.72 and pilot inner 0.67. Is this the one, or is there a bearing with a better tolerance. The outter tolerance I can deal with but inner might require a sleave perhaps?

I used one from the S 10....its metric

  3. Is the outer diameter of the metric S-10 bearing the same diameter as the small block Chevy bearing?

  4. I made the mistake of leaving the stock one[both in and outer was SAE] in my '58 crank and it was a tad loose on the pilot [input]shaft and it made for a vibration in 5th at road speed,so match it close as you can....

Thanks for the input guys. I found it easiest to just turn out an oversize brass bushing on the lathe. Was just hopeing to find an easy direct fit bearing, but nothing is ever a direct fit in modifications.
