No question, it would be a fuel injection 63 split window Vette! They have been my dream car for 59 years, now!

Hmmm, you know, for me, it isn't about what they bring in today's market, or the cost back then. More about what they represent then, as now. More about style &/or engineering. So, even though I posted before, I'll add: Tatra (post WW2), maybe a Panhard, 70 Dodge Daytona, & (w/the proper connections + coughing up the taxes/fees) ~64 Chrysler Turbine. Lots others of course, but memory is getting long in the tooth... ;( . & I suppose I'd need Howard Hughes' $$$. Why not... :D .
    Oh, & a Weasel or two. M29C... :D . Well, couldn't get it new, but slightly used after '45. :D .
    Marcus...

I could only answer honestly about the vehicles I’ve seen made while I’ve been alive,
If I was 20 years old would I have liked a ‘54 or ‘55 Chevy more? What would have been my thoughts on the 55.1 v 55.2 Chevy PU’s? The ‘57 v ‘58 Chevy Car, on and on.
I can honestly only answer from the timeline I have lived in, otherwise I could only answer by saying what car/truck I’d like to have now.

Man thats a tough choice. I guess a 63 vette roadster. Silver blue 340 hp 4 speed. Then a black 60 impala, 348 and a stick. Then a 64 plymouth Savoy hemi car and a stick. Black of course. :D

  17. When a bunch of engineers showed up in Saskatchewan in the late 50's to help plan a new potash mine, one of them was driving a two tone green 57 Bel Air four door wagon with fuel injection. I wasn't born yet, but I did see pics of the car. I would want THAT car..or any 57 Chevy wagon...

Probably one of these(57 Fuely) and a 50 Olds 88 club coupe. This one I actually saw run at the drags at Madera 58-59. Bought it in 77 and redid it--sold it a few years back-kinda miss it

For shittin-n-gittin' and being a general menace: '62 Bel Air bubble-top 409/4spd. Black on red.

Thinking of what an assembly line worker could afford, with good credit and employee discount... Maybe a '63 Falcon Futura convertible - red of course - with a 260 V8.
My dad worked on the Ford engine assembly line in '49, between USAF service and college - his first car was a '36 Ford which had the wiring catch fire three days after he got it, and he never bought another Ford.

  26. Oh boy, tough question, 1963 Biscayne 409 4speed, 1963 Galaxie 427 4 speed, 1966 Satallite 426 4 speed, 1968 Roadrunner 426 Torqueflite, 1968 GTO automatic for the wife to drive. Meanwhile, I’d be working for Mr. Norm tuning cars in the shop.
