What King Pins would you recommend for 37-41 ford?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by SinastirSpeedShop, Jan 16, 2011.

  1. As the title states. I am looking to purchase a Spindle Bolt set (king Pins). What would you recommend?

I seen Mac's set that they offer. Anywhere else I should look?

    Thanks

Napa is a good choice as they are made by Moog. Take them to a good machine shop to be fitted though.

  4. Ream the bushings yourself.....it's easy....

    Right, MOOG.

And again, right, it's easy to ream them IF you have the needed reamer! (I recall it being real long so that it hones and thus centers both ends at the same time).

If not, take them to a good machine Shop.

Anyone used the ones that have a bearing where the bushing goes? It uses a turned down pin and no machine work needed.

This is assuming you do have ‘37-‘41 round back spindles. ‘42-‘48 square backs are 1/2” longer.
