What I've been up to, tech-ish

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by X38, Mar 6, 2008.

  1. Spent the past couple of weeks working on a Deuce highboy. Basically puting the functional things into it like brakes, pedals, steering, seat riser. First off though was putting some strength into the body with steel tube and incorporating seatbelt mount points - they're mandatory here. The test drive was fun. Spending time on the pedal and wheel locations as well as their operation really does pay off if you ever want to drive these things. Oh, and yes, the steering and pedals are on the correct side of the car, for all you joksters.

  6. Dyno sheet says 441 ft.lbs. and 401 h.p. We're relying on the rubber fuse to save the gearbox.

  10. For those of you unsure of X38's hot rod pedigree or style, here's the other highboy he slapped together a few years back. ;)
