My dream car, although a Matranga style Merc, or SoCal Plating tribute car would be nice, too.

Like some others have said lots of dream cars and women.
Enjoyed a lot of both in 49 years.
Lately I have been building OT German muscle cars for the wife and children.

Just missed a super clean 1957 Buick special that was in a barn for 30 years.
Someone got there about 10a minutes earlier.
My fantasy was a 1955 F250 4x4 with dana 50 axles and Cummins bt6 or a Cobra clone with a 1990 Inifiniti 4.5l engine super charged.
After some time lurking on this forum a 40 Ford truck is moving up the fantasy list

I'm very happy with the projects I have, but I'd like to find the Crazy Chris Egsgaard Model A Ford based Speedster we drove around LA in back in 1973. Neat car with a RECORD overhead valve head. PM me if you have any info on its wereabouts. Bob

You are asking this to a person who has a severe case of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) ...and a slight [IMG] case of ADD...

Right now, I am looking for a mid to late 1950's Ford station wagon...or, failing that..a 1940's Ford ragtop....I did say I was [IMG]

I have a 59 Vette and barely fit at 6'0" -- the problem is not leg length but thigh clearance as the steering wheel sits right down in your lap. You could fit in one if you got a tilt wheel or maybe a smaller diameter steering wheel. Would also help if you are thin.

Right now I'd have to say a 1959 Studebaker Lark VIII 2 door sedan or 2 door wagon...followed by the same from 60.

Next would be a 53-54 Studebaker 2 door sedan.

Followed by a 50-51 Studebaker 2 door sedan or business coupe.

Next would be a tie between any of the early 50s Dodge Wayfarer or Plymouth Concord fastbacks

A 1954 Buick Special 2 door sedan finishes off the list.

My handicap requires the larger doors of a 2 door, and the solidness of a sedan's door frames to assist me getting in and out.

Owning a Studebaker is on the top of my bucket list...even if I never got to drive it.

A supercharged Duesenberg would be on the top of my list. Packard V16 as well as caddy V16 and Pierce Arrow. Mercer Race-about, American Underslung (stock and hot rod; which would be cool), a 54 Studebaker Conestoga (which I now own) a 57 Studebaker Golden Hawk and 60's Gran Tourismo Hawk and a Packard Hawk. And this will always grow as I see another oldie I want.

Well it could be the one I building right now, dreaming up stuff to do to it. Or it could be the one I had in the 70's, dreamed of what I used to do in it. Or it could be the one I'm finishing up now, dreaming of the good times to be had in it.
