Technical what is this rim, hudson?

    I think its Hudson can anyone verify? tha[​IMG]nks
     
  2. Nah........it's a 36-39 Ford "wide 5" 16" wheel. Looks like it's in really great condition too...the clips held the hubcap on and yours are all there..Hudsons had small [4.5"] bolt pattern wheels.

  4. Flynstone is right. Most of these wheels are 4" to take a 6.00x16 or 6.50x16 tire. '37-'39 cars with the 60 HP engine had a 3.5" wide version to take 5.50x16 tire. Rim width is measured as inside width between the flanges that the tire seals against. Whichever it is, if you don't need it, it's good swap meet material as somebody will be glad to get it. It will be worth more because it's not rusty and all of the hubcap clips are good.

    thanks, I thought so, well this is the rim I was questioning 17" any ideas Hudson ?[​IMG]
