    I saw this thing on gasser madness and, being a yank and all, i can't quite figure out what it is... not real important, but it's drivin' me nuts not knowing... since i think i have to know everything.. your help is appreciated.

    Cortina as posted above. I wish I had kept the GT Cortina I had years ago.

  11. Sure is a Mk1 corty, used to be a heap of them on the roads over here. They are a cool little car thats for sure.

    Didn't they make a few of those with a Lotus OHC? Cream and green? Rally car?

  13. Yep, the Lotus Cortina - It had a Twin cam head on the 1600 block. Used for circut racing more than rally and was sold as a street car as well.

    I had one back in England, it was stolen, they nicked the Cosmic Superslots except the one with a locking wheel nut, then they smashed it to pieces and left it for dead in a Jewish cemetery, this was in Leeds in 1980, it was a really nice car.
