Panhards are cool as hell, the exhaust pipes are the motor mounts! I'd like to have another one.... sold the last one years ago.

damn talk about bringing the dead back to life; you'd have to be dr frankenstein AND bill gates to fix that one.
somebody who loves them would probably pay good money for the wheels and drums.

Hell , if you have a torch , a box of coat hanger then buy 20 gallons of filler and 15 rolls of screen and start filling those holes up . With a case of rattle can primer you got a real classic car there ! You just need to see the finished picture in your head , then the rest is easy !

That one is pretty far gone.

There was a guy here in town that had a couple, and I was thinking grabbing one for a drag racer project would have been cool.

But they were worth too much for me to do that...

The early model had an aluminum body and a center driving light that turned with the wheels.

That one went to a collector in Frisco long before anyone else thought they were worth a dime.

I drove the newer steel bodied car for a while, always got a laugh when I shut it down.
Just before the two cylinder engine quite turning, the whole car would shake to match the engine stroke.
They had a heavy flywheel to dampen vibration when running.
They were known to break the frame horns right in front of the firewall.

They also made a sportscar version, which actually did very well in road races and was used as the basis for some leading edge experimental stuff, fuel injection and supercharging being a couple.

I don't know if I could drive a car that looks like it wants to give me a kiss, or something.

At first glance it reminds me of the "Lois Lane car" from the old George Reeves Sperman series, except hers had an incredibly cool and rare rollback softtop.

  22. I actually think the grille's really cool ... kinda like the center piece from a '54 Pontiac shrunk down.

  23. Insteresting, for sure...but that thing was butt ugly even when it was new. It must be French.
