The Chevy was built by Fabian Valdez of Vintage Hammer fame.VERY talented guy who only does excellent stuff.Check out more of his work on his website.Ask him about the bumper while you're at it...

Mr. Tom Branch may also be able to bring in some light in here...

The bumper looks somewhat like a Shoebox Ford bumper but not sure, just a guess. What I know for sure is,this is a VERY good looking car and the work on the trunklid is very impressive and well done.

I am also in need of enlightenment. What is done to the trunk lid that necessatated all the work? I'm not overly familiar with what the stock one looked like...

  11. I believe they are both front and rear bumpers from a 53 Plymouth.

The gently peaked front and the wraparound rear really look like a paitr that I have from a 53 Ply wagon here,Mine has a real DECO type lisc surround on the rear though.....They are close to bein too narrow for a chevy,on the rear.....

The front one looks similar to the bumper that's goin on my '54 Ford, a '55 Ply bumper. Looks like the sides were shortened if they are, b/c mine are real long on the sides and narrow a bunch.

    Didn't '51 Olds 98s get a similar bumper, too?
