It's damn cool. I love those old Hudsons.

  7. Pretty rare piece. They almost look "factory chopped". Pick it up if you can. Looks pretty saveable.

  9. There is a nice 46 for sale now on tha HAMB. I have always liked them, very classy for a pick-up. Deffinately Art Deco.

A 37 Hudson has a great grille design. The front end shape does have a slight similarity to a 37 Chevy. The gentleman who bought my 37 Chevy KingCab Pickup a few years ago was looking for a Hudson front clip to make a conversion on his truck. Never found out if he completed this idea but with the body lines on the Chevy truck, the Hudson front end could give it a great sleek look.

The hood ornament is missing and they too are art deco. It looks like a Buck Rogers rocket and people call them "Cigars". K-GAP sells a repop for $50.

  12. That, sir, is a nice little treasure trove!

Cool looking truck, I'd say it's a builder, looks like most of it is there. The bed wouldn't be too hard to fab, getting rear fenders may be difficult, looks like a set of front fenders could be cut down to work, but those are gonna be hard to find too. You could probably slice and dice other 40's fenders and be close.
