I came across this front end a few days ago. Sorry I dont have any measurements on it. However if you had to hazard a guess what would you make it to be? Thanks guys. I'm just hoping to figure out what it is before I go talk to the owner. Keith
Don't spend a lot on it, the only somewhat useful parts are the axle and wishbone. The rest are more suitable for a model a restorer than a hot rodder. I would think $ 150 to $200 would be the high end value, if not less. Don
I don't even know about the axle (maybe for a banger or speedster) but I have the Model A split wishbones under my fenders... That's all the good I see unless you want to reverse the mainspring eyes...... $150 tops and sell what you don't want.
How can you tell its Model A, and not 32-35 Ford? Something about it doesn't seem Model A to me. In particular, the wide sweep of the ball end of the wishbones. Perry in Idaho
if it is for sale, and you don't need it, it is not worth much. if you were given it, found it, or have had it, and you want to sell it, it is worth more in pieces.
It's Model A, you can see the nut on the bolt on steering arm on the left, 32 and up have integral arms.
Thanks guys. I think I'm going to pass on it. I was considering getting it for a '31 project I have a line on. The running gear on the project is good. I'll save my cash for other parts. Also I'm pretty sure he was going to be in the $2-300 range judging by past dealings with him. Keith
