What is it?

    These were in a box of antique automotive stuff,my guess is the pair of clamps are aftermarket shock mounts.

    The bottom one looks like the thing that tightens the seat post on a bike.
     
  8. I was thinking that, too except it looks larger like for an exhaust pipe. Dimensions would help us figure it out, possibly.

    Looks like old gate hinges and part of the latch to me too

  15. Yep....I agree with the fence parts i.d.......they are upper and lower gate hinge pins. They clamp to the fence post and hold the gate. Did I just copy someone? Oh well......it's late.

    Yep, fence parts. The bottom one is a steering column clamp, I think. Goes around the column and secures it to the underside of the dash. I've got one that looks like that off of a 56 Ford.

    They also look like electrical grounding clamps used to establish a ground using an existing plumbing pipe.
