i have a NOS Weiand WC245 4x2 hemi intake. it is in the original packaging from 1963. it is in the original plastic bag and box that both have the Weiand logo on them. the newspaper used to pack the intake in the box is 1963 LA times. there is a small envelope of hardware in the bag as well as a water decal.
I'd say its prolly worth a hell of a lot more than the Weiand spread bore EGR SBC intake I got laying out in my garage. lol I can't give that fucker away.
It is worth as much as someone else is willing to pay...and some folks have pretty deep pockets... Put it on ebay with a big reserve and see where it goes. We'll all be watching. .
Does it say on the box or somewhere...WHICH Hemi or Hemi's it fitz....makes a big difference in value...???????????????
As much as everyone seems to hate Ebay here, it IS the place to find out what folks pay...Go there and search completed auctions for 4x2 manifolds, or Weiand 4x2, or Hemi 4x2 manfolds, I am sure you get the idea....that will tell you what it might bring...NOS is ALWAYS good, the "Deep Pocket" guys, aren't shy about spending money...this hemi manifold ALWAYS brings good money there....ALWAYS !!! Set a high reserve or put it as a Buy It Now, with a super high price, with the make offer option, it will cost you pennys to find out if anyone is interested....
I have one on my truck gave $800 for it seen one last week at a swap meet for $1100 both are no way as nice as that one
Could be in the $2500 area...FOR THE RIGHT GUY !!!!! Personal opinion, the only way to get to him will be on Ebay
Just a point of interest, this might be, and I am not sure, the Super Rare...only made like 71 of them manifold...Could be a healer for sure
I would say $1,500.00 as a start for just the Manifold for a guy who is going to use it. The bag and box could fetch money themselves. You have two types of buyers fo that. One is a Hot Rodder who just has to have it and run it, then the collector of vintage speed stuff who will treasure the bag and box. I'd look for the collector, start by calling Museums. Don Garlits, John Force, Prudhome, etc. That's a very cool collectable. Thanks for sharing, Tim
Look what was just listed on Ebay........... http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-WEIAND...Parts_Accessories&hash=item46119e0fe7&vxp=mtr Worth watching...
