Well the dust has cleared and the salt has been cleaned off. Once again we had a great trip from New York to Bonneville meeting old friends and making new ones along the way. We would like to send out a special thanks to Chris and the SALT FLATS SPEED SHOP , of course the party was terrific as usual but more than that we have come to lean of Chris every year for help with both some of the hot rods that we and others drive out and the race cars and bikes as well. Always ready and willing to go the extra mile it's people like Chris that define HOT RODS and what they are about. So again from all of the Rolling Bones thanks you Chris
Great job! Great pics. Always enjoy reading the journal of the long haul from east to west! Very inspiring Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I remember how much fun my old friend Paul told me he had going out to the salt with you guys,,I sure miss him! HRP
Having fun driving your hot rod to somewhere really fun where you meet up with a great bunch of people. It doesn't get much better than that.
That is a GREAT picture of Paul's hot rod A- V8 . Paul ran with us all the time and made the run to Bonneville several times . A terrific guy and I'm sure he still rides shotgun with us today
Talked to you guys at Austin the past year. I believe you had Poteet's coupe in the pack. Too old for the salt, but do have El Mirage on my bucket list. Enjoyed seeing your cars, including that soo Neeat delivery. Maybe see y'all at Austin next year. I hope Ryan and Steve W. will start another Roundup around October.
Reading about the trip out there and seeing the pictures has me inspired. It's definitely on my bucket list.
to Gary, there were a number of us over 70 traveling with the "circus". one was 75 driving his 32 roadster another from Maine who drove his '31 2dr all the way and back. So too old doesn't cut it! see you next year. larry
