Hi everyone, I need some help.
I have a 1950 mercury coupe and need a heater for it.
Does anyone know of any for sale or any aftermarket heaters that will fit?
Also does anyone have pictures of one fitted.

    Cheers
    Carl

Try Mercuryland or krackerjack1951 here on the H.A.M.B.

If your not interested in the old through the firewall OEM setup, you maight consider any one of the old under dash add ons that were used back in the 40s & 50s. There were hot air, hot water, and gasolene combustion types available. Some of them looked pretty cool. It see the original through the firewall types on flea-pay now and then. I purchased one that was in pretty good shape a few years back. It still had the yellow factory inspection & date stamps. All I had to do was rewire the motor (wires from switch to the windings inside the motor) and it worked like a champ. The 50 & 51 Mercs used the same type of system with only subtle changes.
